Audio clips are sent to OpenAI for transcription and are not retained by us — only the resulting text is processed. Synthesized voice audio is cached so re-rehearsing a script is instant, but that cache is keyed on the script text, not on you.
Your monthly quota depends on your plan: 2 hours (Basic), 4 hours (Premium), or 6 hours (Pro). The AI's voices aren't counted — only your spoken lines. If you run out mid-session, the app falls back to your browser's built-in speech recognition for the rest of that session, or you can buy a 30-minute top-up for $1.99 anytime.
